About The Benjamin Franklin Society

Founded in 1955, the Benjamin Franklin Society (BFS) recognizes leadership donors that make gifts and pledge payments of $2,500 or more to annual giving funds across the University in a given fiscal year. Gifts to The Penn Fund at the Benjamin Franklin Society leadership level make an incredible impact in supporting current undergraduate students inside and outside of the classroom. Members are an inspiration to fellow classmates and alumni. They are honored for their generosity with a bi-monthly e-newsletter, The Donor Digest, invitations to special BFS events throughout the year, and a listing in the BFS Honor Roll.
